CNC Cutting for Small Shops & Makers

CNC Cut-to-Size Servicesfor Small Shops & Woodworkers

Don't own a CNC router — but need production-quality precision parts? Our KOMO nested-base CNC machine cuts plywood, MDF, melamine, and HPL panels to your exact spec. Serving small woodworking shops, cabinet makers, furniture builders, contractors, and custom boat, van & RV builders across Southern California.

What We Offer

Precision CNC Cutting Without the Machine

California Woodworking has been running a KOMO nested-base CNC router with Microvellum CAD/CAM software in our Oxnard shop since long before CNC was common in small shops. We use it daily for our commercial cabinetry projects — and we offer that same cutting capability to outside shops on a contract basis.

Send us your DXF or DWG files (or a detailed cut list), tell us your material and thickness, and we'll cut your parts to spec with the same industrial precision we use on our own work. Turnaround in 3–5 business days for most jobs.

Whether you're a one-person cabinet shop that wants to outsource your CNC cutting, a furniture maker who needs a production run of parts, a custom van or RV builder fitting out an interior, or a boat builder who needs precision marine panels — we can help.

Who We Serve

Built for Shops That Don't Have a CNC — Yet

Our CNC cut-to-size service is designed for anyone who needs precise, repeatable wood parts cut by a real production machine.

Small Cabinet Shops

Outsource your CNC cutting to us and free up your team for assembly, finishing, and installation. Send your cut list, get your parts.

Furniture Makers

Need a production run of case parts, drawer boxes, or flat panels cut to consistent dimensions? We handle the cutting while you focus on joinery and finishing.

Contractors & Tradespeople

Need a handful of custom parts for a specific job? We cut one-offs and small batches without the setup overhead that makes small orders expensive elsewhere.

DIY Makers & Hobbyists

Building a custom piece and need parts cut with more precision than a table saw can deliver? Bring us your design and we'll cut it right.

Boat, Van & RV Builders

Custom interior builds demand tight tolerances and parts that fit the first time. Whether you're fitting out a camper van conversion, a custom RV interior, or marine cabinetry for a boat build, our CNC router cuts your panels, bulkheads, and cabinet parts to exact spec — saving you hours of hand-fitting on the job.

How to Submit Your Files

1

Prepare your cut files

DXF or DWG is ideal — these are the industry standard for CNC cutting and give us the cleanest results. Make sure parts are drawn at 1:1 scale with accurate dimensions.

2

Fill out the quote form below

Tell us your material, sheet thickness, quantity, and any special requirements (dadoes, rabbets, edge profiles, etc.).

3

Email your files to [email protected]

Send your DXF/DWG files to [email protected] with your name and a reference to your quote request. For large file sets, we can also share a Dropbox link.

4

No files yet? No problem

If you only have hand-drawn dimensions or a written cut list, contact us and we'll work through it together. We may be able to draw the files for a small fee, or help you find the right CAD tool.
